Using videos and case studies, participants will learn unique treatment techniques to address strength, endurance, and coordination for a variety of populations from elementary through high school age. We will also develop the ability to combine educational concepts with motor activities. Functional analysis, treatment progression, treatment dosage, discharge planning and timing, teacher/staff carryover and buy-in will also be addressed.

In addition to examining push-in services from many angles, we will also provide you with over 100 CREATIVE activities and resources that can be used in a variety of settings.
A 20-page take-away Tool Kit with activities will also be provided.

  1. Recognize and understand the impact of the IDEA act on service delivery
  2. Design and implement functional treatment plan utilizing ICF guidelines
  3. Create functional and measurable goals utilizing SMART methodology
