Have you ever wondered what role the pelvic floor muscles play in postural control and core stability in a developing child?

Do you ever consider the role of the pelvic floor muscles when designing your exercise program?

Would you like to improve your treatments to better use the pelvic floor muscle to maximize core stability and improve voiding habits?

This class will facilitate an understanding of the role of the pelvic floor muscles in pediatric postural control and core stability. It will also review client factors affecting toileting. Evidence-based and anecdotal evidence will be provided on assessment of the pelvic floor muscles related to breathing and postural positioning. Learn a treatment approach to effectively tap into the pelvic floor muscles to improve core stability and gross motor strength. Multiple videos and case studies will be provided to demonstrate execution of exercises to effectively engage the pelvic floor.
