Learning Objectives
Participants completing this course should be able to:
- Define visual perception, visual motor, oculomotor, binocular and sensory skills
- Identify the PuzzleArt™ products that will help develop and improve visual skills
- Conduct a quick Functional Visual Skills Screening to be used in conjunction with clinical assessment and standardized tests as well as three PuzzleArt™ Sensory Protocols
- Explain the relationship of visual skills to reading, writing and daily life skills
- Integrate therapeutic skills using a minimum of six PuzzleArt™ Therapy products
- Apply this new form of integrative therapy to current practice

Alli Berman, PAT, MA, PhD candidate created her interactive PuzzleArt concepts, Functional Visual Skills Screening and interventions to help others improve visual skills deficits in a targeted way. She is the founder of Brain Fitness Art and Anti-Aging Art. BA/Edu + BA/Art Stony Brook University, MS/Abt Pratt Institute, MA Transpersonal Education with a neuroscience base and Doctoral Program Gateway University.

Susan Fisher, OD a developmental optometrist in private practice for 30 years in Westbury, NY. She has been providing vision care at the Cerebral Palsy Association for Nassau County for 20 years and is the Past-President of the New York State Optometric Association. Collaboration on PuzzleArt Therapy since 2010.

Melissa Gerber, OTD, OTR/L is a seasoned and respected clinician with extensive experience in pediatrics. Began her career in Adult/Pediatric inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation and acute care. Currently works for Great Neck Public Schools, 21 years. President of 4MYKIDSOT, a private practice providing therapy and evaluations. Presented at Education Resources and Therapies in the Schools on Visual Processing: Treat, Remediate, Refer and keynote speaker 2016, presenting on Aligning Motor needs with Educational Goals. Dr. Gerber is also affiliated with PuzzleArt Therapy, and enjoys sharing this program.
