How do you determine if a child with sensory processing disorder(SPD) has movement and posture issues?

How do you identify, prioritize and determine which treatment approaches you will use to address the multi-system impairments and participation issues in children you evaluate?

This webinar is designed to provide therapists with tools to gather and analyze data using the ICF and Reasoning in Action Model (RAM) and determine which interventions to combine. How to combine interventions with children with a variety of developmental disabilities i.e., Developmental Coordination Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism will be covered. Through lectures, case presentation video analysis, and group problem solving the participants will learn through clinical reasoning using the RAM to analyze participation issues and identify impairments to be addressed combining intervention approaches i.e., Sensory Integration, Neuro-developmental treatment, task oriented approaches etc. Considerations of different delivery models to meet the multi-faceted needs of children with developmental disabilities within the school context will be discussed.
