BA/Edu + BA/Art Stony Brook Univ, MS/Abt Pratt Institute, received MA in Education and in Doctoral Program, Gateway University.Susan Fisher, OD – Dr. Fisher is a developmental optometrist in practice for over 30 years in Westbury, NY. She has been providing vision care at the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County for more than 20 years. She is a Past President of the New York State Optometric Association. Dr. Fisher received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the SUNY College of Optometry. Her office provides vision therapy and low vision services as well as treating patients with acquired brain injury and special needs.Serena Zeidler, OTD, OTR/L – Serena is an assistant professor at Touro College, Bay Shore, NY. Her 35 years of clinical OT experience includes school-based practice, adult and pediatric home care, day program intervention for adults with developmental disabilities, skilled nursing, and inpatient rehabilitation. Serena holds a post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Chatham University, and a MA in OT from New York University. She is a presenter on visual skills at national, state and local conferences and trainings.Melissa K. Gerber, OTD, OTR/L is a school based occupational therapist for the past 18 years. Graduating from the University at Buffalo with both her Masters and Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, she began her career at NYU Medical Center-Rusk Institute. President of 4MYKIDSOT, a private practice conducting preschool and early intervention evaluations and treatment. Melissa presents visual skills and treatment strategies workshops at local and national conferences.
